YLDay of Kids Caring with PJ Library

Join Federation’s Young Leadership Division (YLD) and PJ Library® for a day of family fun and volunteering as we come together as a community to be Here for Good! Multiple volunteer opportunities will be available for you and your family including tzedakah box coloring, making cards for the elderly and more.

Soup Kit Collection:

Prepare a soup kit with your family before the event and bring it with you! Make your own soup kit(s) in mason jars by layering ingredients in the jar. Easy recipes can be found online: https://wholefully.com/homemade-soup-mixes-in-a-jar/

Attach a label or card with the name of the soup, contents and cooking directions OR purchase kosher pre-made soup kits (e.g. Manischewitz, Osem, Knorr, Streits, Tradition brands). Items will be distributed through St. Augustine’s Parish & Hunger Center and the Kosher Food Pantry.

Your health and safety is our top priority and we are closely monitoring the current situation with COVID-19. We have adopted the following protocols in consultation with our medical advisors. Masks will be optional for fully vaccinated individuals. We ask that all eligible adults who choose to join us in person are vaccinated.
