Ratzim Lezichram: "Running in Their Memory"

Join members of Cleveland's Jewish community in a special commemoration of fallen Israeli soldiers as part of Federation’s observance of Yom Hazikaron, Israel's memorial day. While we would much rather be together for this special occasion, YLD invites you to take some time by yourself or with your family during the day on Tuesday, April 28 to run, walk, bike, or any other exercise to reflect and think about the fallen soldiers in Israel. The biography of a fallen soldier will be provided to you upon registration.

While we cannot be together physically, we will come together virtually to share our experiences, bring the power of community to this virtual space and hear from Cleveland shlicha, Li-or Gersht, about how this tradition transformed from a local Israeli experience to an international event. During the call, we'll collectively honor the soldiers who gave their lives defending the State of Israel.

Cleveland is proud to be the first community outside of Israel to host this event.
