Women's Luncheon Empowers & Inspires

An afternoon of inspiration at our Women's Spring Luncheon! Over 700 community members joined together for one of our most popular events of the year!

We welcomed Keynote Speaker and Cleveland native Jessica Fechtor, who shared her remarkable journey of recovering from a ruptured brain aneurysm at the age of 28, and how she reclaimed herself through food and cooking.

"We have the power to make something of the bad things that happen to us in our lives. Sometimes, a detour can become its own path."

Our community also honored an unsung heroine, Mary Ellen Saltzman (z"l), the 2016 recipient of the Irene Zehman Award for excellence in volunteer service, who received a standing ovation for her 20+ years of dedication to Treasures Gift Shop. May her memory be for a blessing.

A very warm thanks to our Event Chairs Stacy Anthony, Fran Lasky, Deborah Deutch Rabinowitz, and Katie Speigler, Women's Philanthropy Outreach & Engagement Chairs Amy Wain Garnitz and Becky Heller, and Women's Philanthropy Chair Jennifer Korach for organizing this inspiring and empowering event!

And, a special thank you to all of our guests who participated in our Spring Luncheon service project – together, we donated hundreds of non-perishable foods and essential toiletries to benefit our community food pantries.
