Volunteer Mission to New Orleans
September 11 – 13, 2016
Mark the 11th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina with the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey’s “Klene up Krewe,” a volunteer initiative that has helped rebuild and repair New Orleans in the years after the disaster. On this mission, you will help restore New Orleans through community service projects and explore historic Jewish landmarks and the city’s famous sites.
Approximate Cost: $800 – $1,000 per personParticipants pay for all their own expenses including but not limited to: flight, accommodations, meals, local transportation, sightseeing entrance fees and incidentals.

Volunteer Mission to Beit Shean, Israel
February 19 – March 3, 2017
Immerse yourself in Israeli life while volunteering, enjoying home hospitality, and visiting historic sites in Beit Shean/Valley of Springs, Cleveland’s sister city in Israel. Help the people and city of Beit Shean through daily hands-on volunteering activities, including assisting children or adults improve their conversational English skills and more. Plus, live on a kibbutz, taste authentic cuisine, hike phenomenal trails, and tour unique natural springs and ancient ruins.
Participant Cost: Airfare + $1,000 per person (includes room, board, touring, and all local transportation)
