Active Shooter Attack Prevention and Preparedness (ASAPP)
For civilian audiences

This course was developed by the Federal Bureau of investigation and is designed for civilian audiences. ASAPP combines lessons learned from years of research on active shooter incidents with interactive training techniques to provide a concise, educational, and relevant training course. ASAPP teaches you indicators and concerning behaviors to prevent active shooter incidents, as well as life-saving strategies and skills for those who do find themselves involved in an active shooter incident. Participants will learn why Run, Hide, Fight was chosen by federal agencies as the national standard for civilian response and they will see demonstrations and participate in mini-practical exercises in order to increase their ability to recall this critical information for years to come. These exercises are strictly safe simulations in which no weapons or firearms (real or facsimile) are used.
